What you’ll dive!

Dive Site #1: Mabini Island

Mainit Hot Spring (Mainit Point/Bubbles): Features a hot spring bubbling at 18-20m from volcanic activity, with soft/hard corals, frogfish, and strong currents on a rocky slope; depths 5-35m.

Twin Rocks: Marine sanctuary with twin rocks, schools of jacks, barracuda, snappers, batfish, and clownfish; great for macro; depths 5-18m, slight-moderate currents.

Arthurs Rock: Beginner-friendly gradual slope to a small wall/crack at 18-20m with soft corals, sponges, nudibranchs, sweetlips, emperors, groupers, and turtles; mild currents.

Cathedral: Iconic site with a concrete cross between rocks at 18m, soft corals, sponges, nudibranchs, angelfish, butterflyfish, clownfish; 12-30m depths.

Dive Site #2: Mabini Island

Koala: Slope from 5-30m with medium currents, gentle for novices; rich biodiversity including reef fish and macro critters.

Eagle Point: Wall dive 5-30m with diverse marine life like snappers and fusiliers; suitable for all levels with varying currents.

Dead Palm: Sloping sandy bottom with scattered rocks hosting pygmy seahorses; slight-moderate currents, macro-focused.

Old Anchor: Limited details available; likely features an old anchor amid reefs and marine life, common in Anilao’s boulder-strewn sites.

Dive Site #3: Sombrero Island

Mapating: Possibility for stronger currents, cave, drop-offs 15-40m; possible reef/hammerhead sharks.

Sombrero: Shallow fringing reef around hat-shaped island, impressive drop-offs 8-25m; good visibility (10-25m), slight-moderate currents from any direction.

Sepok: Wall drop-off west of Sepok Point with soft/hard corals; gentle for novices, plentiful smaller life.

Beatrice: Underwater hill behind Sombrero with vivid corals, schooling fish, anthias, frogfish, nudibranchs; roaring currents, 5-27m.

Dive Site #4: Maricaban Island

Daryl Laut Wreck: 1970s shipwreck (former floating casino) at ~29m avg; mandarinfish, crab-eye gobies, nudibranchs, pipefish, shrimps;

Layag: Extensive shallow boulders/reefs (Layag-Layag) with corals, marine life; steep drop-offs, good visibility, possible stronger currents.

Bajura: Long reef off Caban Island with strong currents; abundant life.

Kirby: Rock/reef near Maricaban with frogfish, pygmy seahorses, lionfish, trevally, gobies; 5m+ depths, potential currents.

Dive Site #5: Maricaban Island

Apols Point: Slope with boulders/drop-offs 10-25m, calm-moderate currents for drifts; groupers, batfish, snappers, sponges, corals, possible reef sharks.

Red Palm: Coral gardens (noted as former sanctuary); reef fish, good photography;

Betlehem: Vibrant reefs, nudibranchs, sponges, basket corals on gentle slopes/caves; great photography, all levels.

Caban Cove: Sheltered cove avg 5m max 15m; coral bommies, reef fish, shrimp gobies, devilfish on sandy floor.

Dive Site #6: Verde and Bonito Islands

The Walls: Likely wall dives with strong currents, pelagics;

Pinnacle: Pinnacle/wall drops with triggerfish, anthias, butterflyfish; ledges at 18m hold barracuda, GT, tuna.

Agapito: Rock formations with corals; blue-lined snappers.

Light House: Small island drop-off with strong currents; eagle rays, tunas.

This rental package includes all the gear from our Full Scuba Diving Package. By booking it, you also get gear rental for any DIB events in and around Maastricht starting from 13 September 2026

For those who aren’t into diving (at least not yet!), we want to make this trip accessible for everyone in our community! That includes friends and family of our divers who want to join.  

Therefore together with the locals guides, we’ve created several options for you to enjoy this beautiful area.  

You’ll find stunning places to visit, from vibrant reefs perfect for snorkeling to relaxing beaches ideal for just chilling out.  

This is our non-divers package: you can join the divers on the boat and simply enjoy the amazing surroundings near the dive sites.

• 🤿 SDI Open Water certification or equivalent.
• Recent dive experience; refresher available.
• Mandatory:
