Freediving 🧜‍♀️🧜 @ Dive4Life, DE

June 6, 2026

Dive4Life is always a special place to train, and this session was no exception. With warm water, great visibility, and depth on demand, it created a great environment for focused freediving training as part of the PFI Freediver course.

This session was all about going deeper. Eric and Verena spent the session working on one of the most important freediving skills: equalisation. We explored different techniques and exercises to help them feel more comfortable and in control as they descend. Equalisation can be one of the biggest challenges in freediving, but with patience and the right approach, things started to click.

You could see their confidence growing with each dive. Slower, more controlled descents, less tension, and a better overall feeling in the water.

At the same time, Siegert was working on his free immersion. Smooth, controlled, and relaxed, he made his way down the line to 18 meters. A really solid dive that showed great technique and comfort at depth.

What makes Dive4Life so good for sessions like this is the environment. No waves, no current, just clear, warm water and depth exactly where you need it. It allows everyone to really focus on technique and progression without distractions.

All in all, a strong session with clear progress across the board and a great step forward in the freediving journey.
