Camaro Drysuit Demo Days
There’s nothing like bringing divers together to try something new in the water. Our Drysuit Demo Days were all about sharing knowledge, having fun, and exploring one of the most interesting dive sites in the region—while staying warm and dry. With great weather, good company, and a unique underwater setting, the weekend was set up for success.
What an unforgettable weekend! 🌊
On 31 May and 1 June, we hosted our Drysuit Demo Days at the beautiful Grote Hegge lake in Thorn. With 10 enthusiastic participants, we explored the lake in comfort and style—thanks to the incredible Camaro drysuits everyone got to try out! 🧥🤿
The Grote Hegge is best known for its impressive underwater highlight: the Pruisenwrak—a sunken, barge-like wreck that serves as a perfect dive landmark. 🚤
During our dives, we were lucky enough to spot some large pike 🐟 hiding around submerged structures. Two of them were resting on a smaller wreck located just behind the Pruisenwrak—an unexpected bonus for our divers!
Our guests were warmly welcomed, fitted with their gear, briefed, and guided by our team 🙌. From drysuit introductions to underwater support, we ensured that everyone had a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable experience beneath the surface.
We’re incredibly thankful to our friends from MRT Beach 🏖️ and Parc Maasresidence Thorn 🏡 for letting us use the perfect entry point right next to the wreck, as well as their fantastic facilities right on the beach.
And of course—huge thanks to everyone who made these days so special: those who helped gear people up 🧰, captured the moments 📸, and supported wherever needed 🙏. With snacks, drinks 🍪🥤, good vibes and even better diving, it was truly a weekend to remember. 💙🫧🧜♂️
