🐟 Underwater Attractions and Wildlife

La Gombe is known for its variety of submerged objects and rich aquatic life. Highlights include:

• F-84 jet fighter: Located at 15 meters depth with an open cockpit

• Other features: Tank, car wreck, suspended boat, grain silo, diver’s bell, L- and S-shaped pipe structures, and a submerged Christmas tree

• Fish species: Large sturgeons, carp, pike (up to 1.25 m), koi carp, perch, dace, barbel, and freshwater crayfish

• Voorzieningen ter plaatse: Heated showers, toilets, changing rooms, a canteen with terrace

• Toegang tot water: Via stone steps to a floating dock

• Tank fills available: 200 and 300 bar

• Parkeren: Spacious and close to the entry point

📅 Dive Times & Access

• Ochtendduiken: Start from 09:45

• Afternoon dives: Open to individual divers from 13:00 to 15:00

• Vereisten: Valid dive certification, medical statement

📋 Dive Day Plan – La Gombe

A relaxed and well-organized day of diving, tailored to all experience levels.

🕘 Morning Arrival

• Meeting time: Around 09:45 at the entrance

• After registration, we’ll be assigned a time slot for our first dive

• We’ll set up our equipment and prepare to enter the water in teams of 2 to 3 divers

• The dive plan will be adapted to the group’s experience level

☕ Surface Interval

• After the first dive, there’s time to:

  • Refill or swap tanks

  • Grab a drink and a small bite

  • Register for the afternoon dive

🕐 Second Dive

• After 13:00, we’ll enter the water again for our second dive of the day

🍽️ End of Day

• Once everyone is out of the water and gear is packed, we’ll head out to find a place to eat together, share stories and fill out the logbooks.

• A casual wrap-up to a great day of diving!
